Indian Maritime University, a Central University under Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, has extended the application deadline for 2024 admissions in niche Marine Engineering and related Science / BBA courses.

Course(s) offered : B.Tech (Marine Engineering), B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering), B.Tech (Navan Architecture & Ship Building), 3 Yr B.Sc (Nautical Science), 3 Yr BBA (Logistics, Retailing & E-Commerce), Apprenticeship embedded 3 Yr BBA – Maritime Logistics, BSc (Ship Building & Repair)

Admission test / criteria

Admission in BTech and BSc (NS) is on the basis of IMU-CET (to be conducted on 8 Jun 2024). However, CUET students can take admission for residual seats pending after third list.

Application deadline has been extended upto 10 May 2024.

Admission in BBA is on the basis of CUET / Class 12 marks. CUET candidates will be given preferences. Registration has to be doneon IMU portal for Counseling.

Registration (for Counseling) deadline for this is 30 Jun 2024.

About Indian Maritime University (IMU) : IMU was established on Nov 14, 2008 as a teaching and affiliating university under the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, with Chennai as headquarters. There were 7 renowned legacy teaching-cum-research institutes under the Ministry of Shipping, and these were subsumed under the Indian Maritime University in November 2008.
